Overview Hematologists and others working in hematology-related fields need to stay current with the latest advances in the rapidly evolving disciplines of adult and pediatric hematology. The American Society of Hematology Self-Assessment Program (ASH-SAP) is the only complete, comprehensive, educational resource available that fulfills this need, while also providing thorough board and recertification preparation, as well as AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. This ASH-SAP Web site contains the full contents of the book presented in a format that allows the text to be searched, cross-referenced, and hyperlinked with interactive multiple-choice questions as well as other educational resources, including Hematology, the Society’s annual meeting Education Program Book, and the ASH Image Bank. Access to the electronic version is included with the purchase price of the print version. There are now two versions of the ASH-SAP available for purchase. Both versions include:
Special for hematology fellows As of September 15, 2009, ASH is pleased to provide complimentary online access to the ASH-SAP to all U.S., Canadian, and Mexican fellows in hematology, hematology/oncology, pediatric hematology/oncology, transfusion medicine, hematology-pathology, and oncology programs to help them further their education. Complimentary access is available to anyone in a fellowship program as of July 1, 2009. Access to the ASH-SAP must be ordered by your program director on your behalf. Please have your program director contact training{at}hematology.org to receive access. This program is made possible by an educational grant from Amgen Oncology. If you are a trainee but not in a fellowship program on July 1, 2009, you may order a copy of the ASH-SAP at a special discounted trainee price of $230 by completing the ASH-SAP order form and returning it to ASH along with a letter from your training program director identifying the term of your position. | ||
